In addition to sponsoring a child or donating livestock, there are many other ways to donate. Some other options are listed below.

General Needs
When you designate your donation for General Needs, your financial gift will be used where it is needed most at that given time. For example, a General Needs donation might be used in the case of unexpected expenses, such as the emergency medical care of a sick child.

Administration
Both Malama International and Bethesda International are blessed by the hardwork of dedicated volunteers; however, they are faced with some administrative costs that are unavoidable (bank charges, accounting services, office supplies etc.). Both organizations greatly need additional support in this area.

Mosquito Netting
Malaria is a continuing problem in Africa and it is the biggest killer of pregnant women and children under the age of five in Uganda. According to a UNICEF report, 3,000 children under the age of 5 in Sub-Saharan Africa die every day of malaria. The World Health Oganization estimates that each year the lives of 500,000 children could be saved with the simple use of mosquito netting at night. For a donation of $ 8, you could provide mosquito netting for one child.
